An Important Lesson from The Muppets

I watched the beginning to The Muppets new Wizard of Oz movie. After a story I had heard a couple of weeks ago I wanted to understand the role of the red shoes, but I was too lazy to read the book or rent the movie.

But it is a good thing I did not rent the movie, as I never would have found out that the shoes were not red in the book. At first I thought that maybe The Muppets had changed this for whatever purpose. But, in fact, it was the movie folks who changed it from silver (in the book) to red.

Just thought you might want to know.
